ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION

The main objective of environmental education is to teach people to be mindful of the environment, treasure nature, use its resources in a reasonable way and increase them.

To address this challenge we work in different directions:

  • cooperate with students and youth;
  • maintain and renew exhibitions at the museum of nature;
  • hold events and holidays.
Environmental education is aimed at creating balance in relationships between people and nature.

We have green classes and joint events with teachers of kindergartens and schools.

Organize and develop the volunteer community #ДрузьяЗаповедногоКрыма.

Museums of nature are an important part of environmental education. Museums of nature allow us to create an eco friendly mentality in our visitors.
We hold events devoted to environmental holidays or past events.
The Department of Environmental Education participates in the creation of new routes, guide books, booklets, gifts and communicates with mass media.
Together with the Department of Science and Research and the Department of Ranger Service we monitor and assess the change of ecosystems under recreational load. We also analyze the dynamics and structure of visitor flow, design the routes and define their management approach.
